How to Use Essential Oils


There are 3 main ways to use essential oils.

Topically, Aromatically, and Internally.*

*Please note that very few brands of essential oils are safe for internal use.  ALWAYS read your oil's label to see whether or not it is safe.  Email me to find out my favorite brand of therapeutic grade oils.



Topical Use:
  • Apply to localized area
  • From bottom of feet, enters blood stream within 30 seconds
  • Apply to head, feet, ears, chest, and the back of the neck
  • Avoid oils inside eyes and ears

Aromatic Use:
  • Breathe in or use diffuser to-
  • Kill germs in the air
  • Promote respiratory health
  • Lift mood, increase focus
Internal Use:
  • This method is specific to certain therapeutic grade oils (always read labels carefully to make sure the oil is safe for consumption).
  • Take in a gel capsule, under tongue, or in water
  • Assists general function of digestive system, mouth & throat, liver, and urogenital tract
